Often, parent groups and other community organizations discuss the need and desire to found a charter school in their area, but unfortunately many such groups feel overwhelmed because they may lack the networks and know-how necessary to get the project off the ground. Our School Outreach program is intended to help new and existing charter schools excel. We provide an in-depth assessment of the school or school concept and then follow up with training and support in areas that need improvement along with the sharing of best practices from other charter schools we work with around the country. School Outreach is tailored to the needs of each school based upon needs, strengths/weaknesses and vulnerabilities but will often include the following components:
- On-site performance assessment
- Findings and recommendations presented to the Board and Administration
- Scheduled on-site training and/or Web/Phone training that will provide among other things, comprehensive board training, hiring processes, development of policy bylaws, structure, reviewing and strengthening curriculum, engaging stakeholders, increasing enrollment, and marketing the Vision and Mission.
