Impact Charter Elementary

Impact Charter Elementary will be a K-8 Core Knowledge School, which will be the first of its kind in Baker, LA. Impact Charter Elementary School will initially accept students in grades K-3 in the school’s first year. Each subsequent year, another grade level will be added resulting in a K-5 institution by Year 3. All class sizes will be 25 or fewer students. Impact Charter Elementary will set a school culture that will not only encourage and motivate students, but it encompasses a curriculum that is challenging and will push students to their full potential, and involve parents and community members in the learning process. Furthermore, The Core Knowledge curriculum is designed to help students develop academic and organizational skills, as well as a deep knowledge base in all core subjects and is aligned with the Common Core State Standards.
