Benjamin Franklin Charter School is an academically focused educational program with a phonics-based approach to our Language Arts core. The program stresses excellence in Mathematics, Reading, Writing, Spelling, Grammar, Literature, History, and Science, with enhancements in Art, General Music, Band, Orchestra, Physical Education and Sports.
This is project is a new middle school/high school to accommodate existing middle school students that are located at the BFCS Power Road Campus. The HS 9th grade class will serve their existing 8th grades students. By removing the Middle School students from the Power Road campus, BFCS will be able to accommodate the nearly 600 students currently on their wait list. The facility will include a full High School gym, with the gym at the new Queen Creek East campus serving as an additional practice gym to accommodate both MS/HS students as well as basketball and volleyball teams. The property location will allow family from both the Queen Creek East and Power Road Campus a central point destination and eliminate the need for BFCS to bus students from the Queen Creek East Campus to the Power Road campus.
